Q: Can I have more than one account registered on my device?
A: Yes, but you can only log in to one GoApp account at a time. You will only receive notifications relating to the account that your device is logged into.
Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: No problem! Just click at the “forgot password” button in the login page and fill in your email address registered at GoApp. We will send you an email with further instructions so you can setup a new password.
Q: Does GoApp have access to my location? Is this information shared with third parties?
A: In order for GoApp to perform at its best, we need users to either include their preferred location or to allow GoApp to access their current location. Your experience is based on your preferred location – you are only able to see what’s available near you if you choose a location.
Based on your chosen location, we are able to help you connecting with (i) local pet shops (and the products available near you), (ii) dog walkers and pet sitters, and (iii) with other users or pets nearby. Under no circumstance we share any of your personal information, including your and your pet’s location with others.
Q: Can I have more than one pet registered in my account?
A: Yes, you can have more than one pet registered in your GoApp account. In order to register a new pet, you just need to follow the step-by-step (Side Menu > My pets > Add a new pet) and fill in your pet’s information. All pets registered are linked to a user profile.
Q: What types of pet registration are available at GoApp?
A: GoApp allows users to register pets under four categories:
· Pets up for adoption;
· Pets that have a home but are (or appear to be) lost and have been found;
· Pets that have a home but are (or appear to be) lost and haven’t yet been found;
· Pets that already have a home.
Q: How can I search for pets at GoApp?
A: At GoApp, you can search for pets in three ways:
1. Search engine: by using the search engine located on the top of the Community feed, typing a search term (i.e. a pet name, the name of an owner who is registered at GoApp, a type of animal or a breed) and clicking enter;
2. Filtering: by using our filtering system located on the top right corner of the Community feed, which will direct the results of your search specifically to the kind of animal you are looking for (status, type, breed, gender, age and/or size) and return search results by relevance and location;
3. GoMap: by using the GoMap located on the top of the Community feed and filtering results through our filtering tool.
Q: How can I edit my user profile? And my profile picture?
A: Access the side menu and click on the “Edit my profile” button located on the top of the menu. There you can change your personal information and upload or update your profile picture.
Q: How many profile pictures can I add to my user?
A: You can add one profile picture to your profile and one profile picture to each of your pet’s profile.
My Pet Calendar
Q: How do I add reminders to My Pet Calendar?
A: You can either click on the blue “+” button located on your dashboard or click on your side menu > Calendar > “+” button on the top right corner. At the “Add event” page, you should fill the information (event title, location, time, select what pets that event relates to, select tags and add notes) and click on the “Save” button. The event will show at your calendar and on your dashboard if it is one of the next events in your calendar.
Q: What events can I add to My Pet Calendar?
A: You can add events related to your pet’s meds (such as vermifuge and anti flea sprays), vaccines, vet appointments and general health info. We created the Pet Calendar thinking about our pains as pet owners – it can be tricky to keep track of your pets’ health info. We want to make life easier for pet owners!
Dog Walking
Q: How does the dog walking platform work?
A: On your dashboard, click on the “Dog Walking” button. Select the dates, time, tell us a bit about your dog (i.e. Does he or she have any type of behavioral problem?), confirm the address where the dog should be picked up, and complete your payment info. Push the “Book a walk!” button and we will select the perfect dog walker for your dog.
Q: How does GoApp select the walkers that join the platform?
A: As pet owners ourselves, we would never hire people with whom we wouldn’t trust our pets. We truly love animals and our main goal is to improve the general quality of life of pets by providing reliable and well-trained dog walkers to all pet owners out there.
We believe in cooperation and community. Most dog walkers that come to us are referred by other dog walkers and they all go through interviews and background checks. There’s no automated process. If approved, our walkers go through training with professional dog trainers in order to learn everything they need to ensure a safe, trustworthy and fun experience for dogs.
We highly encourage cooperation among walkers, also by giving an economic incentive (dog walkers make a small commission on walks done by dog walkers that they referred). This way, all dog walkers have another (more experienced) dog walker overseeing and following their work in order to keep our quality standards high and make sure things are running smooth.

Q: I have more than one dog. Can dog walkers walk more than one dog at a time?
A: Our dog walkers can walk up to two (2) dogs per walk if they are from the same owner. If you have a third dog, you will have to book a walk separately. We do this to ensure the safety of the dogs and the dog walker, as well as to follow best practices recommended by our professional dog trainers.
Q: Can I track my dog’s walk?
A: Yes, you can! Our amazing feature allows you track your dog’s walk in real time. Click on the side menu, go to “My Walks” and select your current walk. You will see a map with the live location of your dog.
Q: What does GoApp do to ensure the safety of my pet?
A: Safety first. All walkers go through a thorough background check and are interviewed before they go through training with professional dog trainers. Additionally, all services are covered by insurance and we have a 24/7 support center that is able to help both walkers and users in any given situation.

Q: How does payment work?
A: Payment happens through a third party payment gateway to ensure safety. GoApp does not hold your payment info. If you want to learn more about our payment system, check our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Q: Where can I find a receipt of my walk?
A: Every time you book a walk, you will get an email with the summary of your order. However, you will only be charged upon completion of the service. Once your walk is done, you will get an email with your receipt.
Q: What happens if my walk is cancelled?
A: If your dog walker cancels, we will try to find another match for you. If we are not able to find another walker, your walk will be cancelled and you will not be charged.
Q: Where are GoApp’s dog walking services available?
A: We just launched in the Netherlands and will be expanding across Europe very soon. In the following months, we will recruit amazing dog walkers to launch our services in Brazil and in the U.S.. Stay tuned to our news by subscribing to our newsletter!

GoShop & Pet Shops
Q: How does the GoShop work?
A: Once you select your location, the GoShop buttons will pop up in your dashboard if our services are available near you. Through the GoShop, you will be able to see what products are available in pet shops nearby and get them with same-day delivery. Our main goal is to make life easier for pet owners, allowing you to shop without leaving your pet’s side.
Q: How can buy pet products at GoShop?
A: After selecting your location, click on the “Buy near you” buttons on your dashboard. Add the products to your shopping cart, proceed to checkout and confirm in which address the order should be delivered.
Q: How does payment work?
A: To complete your order, you have to select the payment method (payment slip, bank transfer or credit card) and complete your payment info. Payment happens through a third party payment gateway to ensure safety. GoApp does not hold your payment info. Q: How does delivery work?
A: After checkout, you will receive an email with the summary of your order and your receipt. Our partner pet shops located in your region will be activated and one of them will prepare the products in order to fulfill your order. Our logistics partner will pick up your order and deliver it to your doorstep on the same day (if your order was submitted before 2pm).
